As MuseScore is free and open source, anyone can get the source and share code contributions on GitHub. We’re looking for more developers to join the community as part of the MuseScore 3 effort. You no longer need to wait for the latest version to be packaged for your system. This is possible thanks to the AppImage packaging format, which runs on pretty much all Linux distributions.
